The Potter Group are well known and respected for their substantial waste recycling activities but perhaps a little less well known is their commitment to renewable energy where they generate up to 6MW of electricity from methane gas collected from their landfill sites.
The Potter Group have recently submitted a Planning Application for a 2MW solar PV installation close to the Bryn Posteg site near Llanidloes. In total this might have 4,500 solar panels and generate approximately 1.9MWh of electricity per year.
